杨红，民族音乐学家，曾就读于中国音乐学院音乐学系和香港中文大学研究院，分别获文学硕士（1990）和哲学博士（2004）学位。现为中国音乐学院音乐学系副教授、民族音乐教研室主任、民族音乐学及中国传统音乐研究生导师，系中国音乐家协会会员、国际传统音乐学会会员（ICTM）、中国传统音乐学会理事、中国少数民族音乐学会会员、世界民族音乐学会理事等。
